Frequently asked questions

Are travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?

Travel expenses are an additional charge to the package you select. They are calculated and added to the invoice once a location is chosen for the photo session. If your session involves a studio rental, that is an additional cost to your invoice.

 

Where will the photo session happen?

Picking a location is all about what you want! You can decide where we will have the photo session that fits what you're looking for. However, if you don't have anywhere specific in mind, I have a selection of places you can choose from.

What should I wear to my photo session?

I recommend wearing clothing that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Solid colors and simple patterns tend to work best. If you need more specific help, I'd be happy to offer suggestions based on the type of photo session you're asking about.

How long does it take to receive the final photos?

Typically, you can expect to receive your completed photo gallery within 2 to 4 weeks after the session. This allows time for careful editing and ensuring the highest quality in the images. If you need your photos sooner, please let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your timeline.

What if my kids have a hard time cooperating during the session?

I totally get it, kids can have a hard time sitting still and smiling for long periods of time. With younger kids at my family sessions, I like keeping them fun and relaxed with plenty of movement and breaks if needed. I plan small games or activities to let them warm up with what's going on so they can relax. The best photos often come from the in-between, candid moments, so just focus on enjoying the time with your family and I'll take care of the rest!

Do you help plan surprise proposals?

 

 

Yes! I love capturing surprise proposals, and I'd be to happy to help you plan the perfect moment. Whether you need help choosing a location, figuring out the best timing for lighting, or coming up with a discreet plan, I've got you covered. I can help you come up with a signal or pose as a casual photographer to keep the surprise. Let's make this moment unforgettable-- reach out and we can start planning!
